| This research was conducted in shops self-service of Pachuca and local commerce of Zacualtipán, were recorded prices of 24 products: rice, tortilla, tomato, lemon, jalapeno chile, milk, eggs, ham, sausage, beef, chicken meat, toilet paper, soap powder, toilet soap, toothpaste, beans, onions, potatoes, avocado, orange, banana, oil, salt and sugar. The dates for consulting prices were: July 26, 2007, on January 25 and May 29, 2008. The importance of this study is the comparative analysis and trends in prices. The shops self-service offer 9.7% cheaper in 62.5% of the products. | Project evaluation allows to resources optimisation, improving business's productivity and viable investments. The aim of this research was to provide technical and economic elements, to support decisions about the feasibility or not to run an agribusiness oriented to fertilizer's formulas production, used for potato and maize crops during establishment and maintenance in Toluca Valley, Estate of Mexico. The methodology used was project formulation and evaluation. The main markets were Toluca, Zinacantepec, Sultepec, Valle de Bravo and Temascaltepec municipalities. | In Mexico beef cattle production under double purpose systems is the main economic activity in rural areas. This activity has been developed for decades in the south of México State, without any technical assistance. The productive chain of beef production has a weak links between the different bonds (producers, slaughter houses, traders etc.), which in general have been working independently. Organization between the bonds of the chain will increase the competitiveness of the system.
